Napkin Freshwater Rock

Flanked by a headland at each end, and with excellent surf and a stunning rock pool, there's plenty to take in at Freshwater Beach. Rather oddly, I found myself focussed one day on the beautiful lichens and mosses covering the rocks at the northern end. Tones of clay, burnt orange and turmeric, rippled through with Winter white.
